These are some frequent questions I receive

Q. What style of photography and editing do you offer?
My style of photography is a mix of candid and posed images.
My editing style is warm and rich.
I like to capture genuine emotions, interactions and smiles, so I often ask parents to stand behind me and do
funny things to encourage their children's natural laughter and smiles.
I also often act like a monkey, tickle children and do silly things to encourage their smiles.
I also encourage adults to talk about things to make each other laugh and I often
end up laughing too!
Q. What if I want a different style of photography and editing?
When you book with a photographer - you are, booking their style and not another photographer's style.
I highly recommend looking through my gallery to see if that is what you would like, as that is
the style you are booking and paying for.
Q. How do I book a session?
When you have decided my style and editing is what you want and you would like to book, we find you a date and time for your session.
A non refundable retainer fee is due within 24 hours of booking.
Your session is only secured when the retainer fee is received.
Full payment is due 2 business days before the photoshoot date, or if a package of 2 sessions,
I will let you know when payments are due.
Prompt payment is necessary and in the event of not receiving timely payments, sessions may
be cancelled and payments received will not be refunded.
If you are having difficulty paying, please let me know and we may be able to arrange a payment plan.
Galleries are only finished and sent, when full payment has been received.
Q. How long is my session valid for, if it is postponed?
Your session is valid for 6 months from the date the retainer fee is paid.
Q. How many images will I receive from the session?
I only give out edited images that represent the quality of my work and you will receive an edited gallery to view between 20-40 images, depending on the type of session.
(Mini sessions and Children's Fantasy are different).
The gallery size is also dependent on the co-operation of those included in the session and the weather etc, which are beyond my control.
From the gallery you will choose the number stated when you booked the session.
I do not give out unedited/raw images.
Once the images are downloaded, the client is accepting the gallery and no further edits are made.
Q. How long will it take to receive my gallery?
My turnaround time is usually 2-3 weeks.
I will let you know if there is a reason this may
be longer.
Q. What happens if I lose my images, or need to access my gallery at a later date?
Galleries are not kept active indefinitely.
Clients are asked to download the images within 7 days and they can be downloaded as a many times as needed.
Should you wish to re-access your gallery, there is a $50 admin fee to cover the time required to upload the gallery again and send an email.
Please note, I am not liable for any galleries and images lost due to equipment failure after 6 months.
Q. Can I purchase additional images and additional
time for my session?
Yes, you can and you will be advised of the cost.
Q. What happens if I book an outdoor session and
it rains, or it's crazy windy?
We reschedule the session to another mutually convenient date.
If there is no convenient date, the retainer fee is held in credit, for another photography session within the next 6 months.
Please note, for health and safety reasons, I do not do photoshoots in extreme heat.
Outdoor newborn sessions are not conducted if the outdoor temperature is above 30 degrees, as this is dangerous for baby.
An alternative session will be offered.
Q. What is your approach with newborn photography?
I am a baby led photographer and I only photograph images bubs is comfortable with.
I don't continue a particular pose (eg wrapping) if bubs is clearly unhappy.
Newborn is an age where bubs may want to be held by mum or dad and in these situations - I take images of bubs being held.
If bubs is happier being wrapped, that's what we do and take most images with bubs wrapped.
Every newborn session is different.
At my In-home sessions, I can capture lifestyle images, around your home.
Q. Do you supply outfits and clothing for newborn?
Yes, I do have a range of beautiful newborn clothing, aged from 2-4 weeks old.
I have loose wraps and blankets for older newborn babies.
These are included in the session price, at no extra cost.
Q. Do you supply maternity gowns and clothing?
Yes, I have a range of gowns, dresses and kimonos.

Q. What happens if a client cancels their photoshoot?
There can be a cancellation fee of $100, should the photoshoot be cancelled within 7 days of the photoshoot.
Q. Can I purchase a gift certificate?
Yes, these are available for all types of photoshoots.
Gift certificates are valid for 6 months from purchase.
Locations and times, are advised as per photographer's schedule.
Mini sessions are weeks days only.
In-home newborn sessions are weeks days at 10am only.
Weekend sessions for full price maternity and family, are subject to availability and photographer's schedule and are not guaranteed.
After the valid time periods, the gift certificate is invalid.
If photoshoots are rescheduled within 7 days of the booked session date, a rescheduling fee applies.
Gift certificates are not exchangeable for cash or refundable.
